Cookies are small text strings stored in your browser when you visit a site. They help us remember who you are, keep you signed in, and understand which parts of Derm.com need work. We keep the set small and we do not use cookies for advertising.
Essential
These are required for the service to function. Disabling them will sign you out and break core flows.
- Session: a signed token that proves you are signed in.
- Security: CSRF and rate-limit tokens.
- Save replay: a short-lived value that finishes a save action after you sign in from a creator page.
Functional
Remember a few preferences across visits so the product behaves the way you expect.
- Language.
- Recently viewed creators for quick navigation.
Analytics
Anonymized signals we use in aggregate to improve the product. No third party uses Derm analytics for cross-site advertising.
- Page views, buy-click attribution, and session duration.
- Performance metrics like time to first byte and largest contentful paint.
Advertising
We do not set advertising cookies on Derm.com. Affiliate networks that record a click after you hit a buy button may set their own cookies on their domain. Those are governed by the network's policy, not ours.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Steps vary by browser. Note that disabling essential cookies will sign you out and prevent you from using account features.
Changes
If we add a category, we will update this page and highlight the change at the top.
